We regret to announce the death of Wesley Szyjka on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 76. Wesley was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, curling, bowling, playing euchre and dancing – especially the polka. He is survived by his wife Lydia, his children: Danny (Julie) and Allan (Andrea), as well as three grandchildren: Jacob, Tyler and Ashley. He was predeceased by his parents: Mary and Stefan, one brother: Stefan. Wesley Szyjka will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, December 1 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2nd at St. Patrick's church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Wesley Szyjka le jeudi 28 novembre 2019 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 76 ans. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb. Il adorait aller à la pêche et jouer au curling, aux quilles, au euchre et danser – surtout la polka. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse: Lydia; ses garçons : Danny (Julie) et Allan (Andrea); ainsi que trois petits-enfants : Jacob, Tyler et Ashley. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents : Mary et Stefan; et un frère : Stefan. Wesley Szyjka reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette, le dimanche 1er décembre de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le lundi 2 décembre en l'église St. Patrick à 11h00 avec le Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’œuvre de charité de votre choix. ©
