Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès d’Yvon Girard le samedi 13 septembre 2014 au Manoir North Centennial à l'âge de 77 ans. Yvon était un amateur de la chasse et pêche. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Liza Pelchat épouse de Richard de Kapuskasing et Daniel Girard de London; une belle-fille: Brigitte Girard de Moonbeam; deux beaux-fils: Greg Nash époux de Cloris de Kapuskasing et Denis Nash époux de Benita de Hamilton; une belle-fille: Diane St-Louis épouse de Claude de Sault Ste. Marie; cinq soeurs: Murielle Burton épouse de Len de la Colombie-Britannique, Diane Wills de l'Alberta, Anita de Timmins, Annette Todd de Kapuskasing et Nicole de Hamilton; un frère: Raymond Girard de Belleville; ainsi que plusieurs petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse Annette Nash; un fils: Léon Girard; un frère: Jean-Louis Girard; et deux sœurs: Aline Génier et Lise Rousson. La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 11 octobre, en l'église Immaculée-Conception à 10h30 avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société Alzheimer. ©

We regret to announce the death of Yvon Girard on September 13, 2014 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 77 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his children: Liza Pelchat wife of Richard of Kapuskasing and Daniel Girard of London; one daughter-in-law: Brigitte Girard of Moonbeam; two step-sons: Greg Nash husband of Cloris of Kapuskasing and Denis Nash husband of Benita of Hamilton; one step-daughter: Diane St-Louis wife of Claude of Sault Ste. Marie; five sisters: Murielle Burton wife of Len of British-Columbia, Diane Wills of Alberta, Anita of Timmins, Annette Todd of Kapuskasing and Nicole of Hamilton; one brother: Raymond Girard of Belle-Ville; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his spouse, Annette Nash; one son: Léon Girard; one brother: Jean-Louis Girard; and two sisters: Aline Génier and Lise Rousson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating.
