Romuald Girard
Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès de Romuald Girard le samedi 29 juillet 2017 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 76 ans. Romuald était un vrai homme à tout faire avec beaucoup de talents, qui adorait construire, réparer, bricoler et « patenter » des choses. Comme passe-temps, il aimait faire des randonnées en scooter et passer du temps à son paradis : sa roulotte au terrain de Twin Lakes.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Édith; ses enfants: Marc (Line Tremblay) de Kapuskasing, France (Claude Jobin) de Cochrane, Maryse (Miro Goncalves) de Hull, Joëlle Cloutier de Kapuskasing, Jonathan Cloutier (Erin) d’Owen Sound, et Pascale McCartney (Ben) de Chatsworth; onze petits-enfants: Maxim, Mireille, Candice, Erika, Cedrick, Jayde-Rose, Sky, Logan, Annabelle, Jasmine, et Tucker; ainsi qu’une sœur: Sylvia Vallée de Timmins; et plusieurs neveux, nièces, et amis. Il fut prédécédé par plusieurs frères et sœurs.
La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le samedi 5 août à 10h30 à l'église Nativité-de-Marie avec Père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au Fonds des enfants du corridor du Nord. ©
We regret to announce the death of Romuald Girard on July 29, 2017 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 76 years. Romuald was a man of many talents and jack of all trades who loved building, fixing, and « MacGyvering » things. In his spare time, he enjoyed going for scooter rides and spending time at his paradise: his trailer at Twin Lakes Trailer Park.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Édith; his children: Marc (Line Tremblay) of Kapuskasing, France (Claude Jobin) of Cochrane, Maryse (Miro Goncalves) of Hull, Joëlle Cloutier of Kapuskasing, Jonathan Cloutier (Erin) of Owen Sound, and Pascale McCartney (Ben) of Chatsworth; eleven grandchildren: Maxim, Mireille, Candice, Erika, Cedrick, Jayde-Rose, Sky, Logan, Annabelle, Jasmine, and Tucker; as well as one sister: Sylvia Vallée of Timmins; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by many brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 5th at 10:30 a.m. at the Nativité-of-Marie church with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
