We regret to announce the death of Jeannot Côté on October 9, 2009 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 54 years. Jeannot enjoyed playing golf, curling, photography, cross country skiing and camping, which he always did with his wife Linda at his side. He worked at Tembec Spruce Falls for 35 years as a heavy equipment welder and maintainer in the woodlands garage. He was also a Residential Inspector and owner of CoVille Home Inspections of Smooth Rock Falls. He is survived by his wife, Linda Miville; his children : Eric husband of Chantal of Kapuskasing and Pamela wife of Kimberley Beaver of Brandon, Manitoba; two step-daughters: Stacey Trottier wife of Michel of Hanmer and Joëlle Beaulieu wife of Denis of Azilda; three grandchildren due this spring, three sisters: Imelda Tremblay and Odile Tremblay both of Fauquier and Andrée Côté of Val-Thérèse; as well as three brothers: Yvon of Kapuskasing, Denis of Ottawa and Nil of Hearst. He was predeceased by his parents, Simon Côté and Jeannine Lepage.. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th at Sainte Gertrude Parish in Smooth Rock Falls at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
