Alex Davitsky

Passed away on July 27, 2001

We regret to announce the death of Alex Davitsky on July 27 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife; Georgette nee Frappier, two sons; David of Oakville and Pete husband of Ann of Kapuskasing, two sisters; Lena Davis wife of Fred of Calgary and Rose McDougall wife of Ken of Kapuskasing, one brother; Steve husband of Doreen of Kapuskasing, one sister in law; Jacqueline DeLuca of Timmins as well as eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was pre-deceased by his parents; Florence and John Davitsky. The funeral service was held on Monday July 30 at 1:00 p.m. with Father Leo Papineau and Reverend Doug MacKay officiating. Interment followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Fund or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
