Passed away on October 20, 2000

We regret to announce the death of Alexandre Thibodeau on October 20 at his home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife; Emilie Thibodeau, one son; Robert husband of Gisèle of Thunder Bay, one daughter; Diane Shirley wife of Robert Champagne of Kapuskasing, one sister; Irène Cormier wife of André of Bathurst, four gandchildren; Meaghan, Owen, Alexandrea and Alysha, as well as two sister in law; Bernadette Paradis and Marie-Paule Gagnon all of Kapuskasing. He was pre-deceased by six brothers; Eugène, Donat, Paul, Alonzo, Emilien and Gérard, one sister; Yvonne and one granddaughter; Cindy Champagne. Funeral services was held at the Immaculee Conception parish with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Interment to follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
