We regret to announce the death of Antoine Bernier on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 81. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Saint Gertrude parish choir. He is survived by four siblings, Jeanne-D'Arc Chevallier (Robert) of Smooth Rock Falls, Céline Bernier de St-Aubert, Honorius Bernier de St-Aubert and Raymond Bernier of Lévis, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Yvette Bernier (2010), one son, René, three sisters, Madeleine Bernier-Normand, Marcelle Antier and Hélène Bernier-St-Pierre, five brothers, Augustin, Léonard, Louis-Gonzague, Samuel and Paul-Henri. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 4th at Saint-Gertrude church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Richard Fortin officiating. Burial to follow at the Smooth Rock Falls cemetery. ©
