We regret to announce the death of Armand Roy on October 16, 2012 at the Sensenbrenner Kapuskasing at the age of 88 years. He was known around town as the meter man. He is survived by his wife Marguerite Roy of Kapuskasing, 4 sons: Robert of Midland, Denis husband of Ramona of Welland, Laurent of Falconbridge, Claude (Audrey) of Kapuskasing; 2 sisters: Jeannette Drisdale of Kapuskasing, Gabrielle Pashniak of Kelowna as well as 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 1 brother: Hector Roy, 3 sisters: Hélène Boudreau, Priscille Boudreau and Marie Gascon. Armand was a true fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Armand Roy will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday October 19, 2012 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday October 20th, 2012 at the Immaculée-Conception church in Kapuskasing at 10:30 AM with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. Il fut prédécédé par 1 frère: Hector Roy, 3 soeurs: Hélène Boudreau, Priscille Boudreau et Marie Gascon. Il était un admirateur des Toronto Maple Leafs et des Blue Jays. Armand Roy reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le vendredi 19 octobre 2012 de 14 h – 16 h et de 19 h – 21 h. Le service commémoratif aura lieu le samedi 20 octobre 2012 en l'église Immaculée-Conception à Kapuskasing à 10h30 avec le Père Jean-Paul Décarie comme célébrant. L'incinération a eu lieu au Crématoire Hillcrest. Comme témoignage de sympathie la famille sera reconnaissante de messes en l’honneur d’Armand ou un don à une œuvre de charité de votre choix. ©
