Bernadette Filion

Passed away on June 11, 2001

We regret to announce the death of Bernadette Filion on Monday June 11, 2001 at the North Centennial Manor, Kapuskasing at the age of 94 years, 11 months and 14 days. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Filion, two sons: Paul-Yvan and Adrien, one daughter Laurette, three sisters: Laura Tardif, Lucille Cloutier, Rose Marquis, three brothers: Albert, Armand and Philodyme Marquis. Bernadette Filion is survived by four daughters: Annette Dagenais of Kapuskasing, Hélène Chouinard wife of Donald of Hearst, Raymonde Filion of Ottawa, Dolores Dagenais of St. Catharines, seven sons: Léonard husband of Thérèse of Moonbeam, Gilbert friend of Solange of Moonbeam, Albert husband of Paulette of Moonbeam, Raymond friend of Antoinette of Moonbeam, Lucien, Gérard both of Kapuskasing, Patrick husband of Denise of Embrun, one sister Alice Sauvageau of Boucherville, Québec as well as 35 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Thursday June 14, 2001 at the Nativité de Marie Church in Moonbeam with Father Robert Tremblay officiating. Burial followed at the Moonbeam Cemetery.
