We regret to announce the death of Bernadette Jean on January 20, 2011at the age of 81 years. She is survived by her husband Médard, her children: Marielle Nadeau wife of Léon of White River, Normand spouse of Danielle Therrien of Kapuskasing and Huguette Jean spouse of Jean-Claude Lauzon of Kapuskasing; two grandchildren: Jesse and Stéphane; six sisiters: Jeanine Poirier, Géraldine Haché, Armandine Robichaud, Marie Gionet, Fernande Landry and Réjeanne Doiron all of New Brunswick; five brothers: Léo Cormier of Prince Edward Island, Fred, Fernand, Rhéal and Réjean Cormier all of New Brunswick; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Gérard Cormier. She enjoyed quilting and watching television. Bernadette Jean will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 24 th at Immaculée-Conception at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
