We regret to announce the death of Bernard Gendron on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 79. He is survived by six children, Cécile Bogda wife of Peter and Maurice companion of Nathalie Vigneault all of Kapuskasing, Sylvie Gravel wife of Raymond of Fauquier, Jacques husband of Béatrice of Val-Rita, Denis husband of Linda of Vancouver and Dominique husband of Josée of Thunder Bay, four brothers, Claude husband of Mariette of Ottawa, Jules husband of Bernadette of Smooth Rock Falls, Gaston husband of Blanche of Tilbury and Marcel husband of Pierrette of Timmins, two sisters, Louisette Blais wife of Raymond of Fauquier and Margot Contant of Moonbeam, as well as many grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Louisette, his parents, Aurore and Joseph, one brother, Jean-Noël and three sisters, Lucie Marcoux, Renée Lapierre and Cécile Meilleur. Bernard Gendron will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 6 from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 7th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
