We regret to announce the death of Catherine Tanguy on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 89. She enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting
and gardening. She is survived by two sons, Jacques of Kapuskasing and Jean-Pierre (Hélène) of St. Damien, as well as five grandchildren, Cathie Aubertin (Richard), Michael, Julie Tanguy (Stéphane Legault), Nicole Tanguy (Benoît Leduc) and Jocelyne Tanguy (Mathieu De Bonis), nine great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Ryan, Connor, Félix, Victor, Rosalie, Théo, Alex and Max. She was predeceased by her husband Jean and one son, Georges. Catherine Tanguy will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will follow on Friday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Guenette Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. ©

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Catherine Tanguy le lundi 4 février 2013 à l'Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 89 ans. Elle aimait lire, la pêche, la chasse, les fleurs et le jardinage. Elle laisse dans le deuil deux fils, Jacques de Kapuskasing et Jean-Pierre époux d'Hélène de St. Damien, ainsi que cinq petits-enfants, Cathie Aubertin (Richard), Michael, Julie Tanguy (Stéphane Legault), Nicole Tanguy (Benoît Leduc) et Jocelyne Tanguy (Mathieu De Bonis), neuf arrière-petits-enfants, Jonathan, Ryan, Connor, Félix, Victor, Rosalie, Théo, Alex et Max Elle fut prédécédée par son époux Jean et un fils, Georges. Catherine Tanguy reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le 7 février de 19h00 à 21h00. Service funéraire suivra vendredi dans la chapelle du Salon Funéraire Guenette à 10h00 avec le Père Gilles Gosselin comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Fondation des maladies du cœur. ©
