We regret to announce the death of Cécilia "Cécile" Bernard on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the North Centennial Manor at the age of 91 years. She is survived by one son, Edouard (Patricia) of Kapuskasing, five daughters, Georgette Trudeau (Gilbert), Hélène Campbell (Hugh) all of Kapuskasing, Estelle Baril (Armand) of Lefaivre, Suzanne Jean (Daniel) of Sarnia and Linda Hart of Winnipeg, one sister, Elizabeth Lepage of Kapuskasing, as well as ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Benoît, two brothers, Émile Gauvin and Alexis Gauvin, two sisters, Louisa Essiembre and Délima Genest, one grandson, Jeffrey. Cécilia Bernard will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, June 6 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 7th at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor North Centennial or the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund would be greatly appreciated.
