We regret to announce the death of Charles Jean on June 29, 2010 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his spouse Denise Jean of Val Rita; his children: Carolle Levesque wife of Tangay, Marc Jean husband of Nancy, Mario Jean husband of Christine, Patrick Jean husband of Sylvie all of Val Rita, Eric Jean of Edmonton, Alberta; 3 sisters: Émilie Thibeault (Gilles) of Baie-Comeau, Québec, Délima Basque (Late Ernest) of Hacheyville, Nouveau Brunswick, Alphonsine Fournier (Maurice) of Moncton, Nouveau Brunswick as well as 7 grandchildren: Martin, Lianne, Shaunelle, Angélina, Samantha, Amélie and Antony. He was predeceased by 1 sister Anaïs and her husband Luc Benoit. He was a member of La Forge and enjoyed fishing, hunting, play checkers and work on his trucks. Charles Jean will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday July 2, 2010 from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM. The memorial service will be held on Friday July 2nd at Guenette Funeral Home, Kapuskasing at 10:30 AM with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
