Christine Chum

Passed away on July 21, 2002

We regret to announce the death of Mrs. Christine Chum on July 21, 2002 at the Notre Dame Hospital, Hearst at the age of 75 years. She was predeceased by her husband Simeon Chum, and four sisters. Survived by four daughters: Frances Matthews (Danny) of Kapuskasing, Shirley Chum, Maryanne (Maureen) Martin (Ronald), Hannah Bunting (Leonard), one son Daniel Chum (Margo) all of Constance Lake, two sisters: Hilda Sutherland of Kapuskasing, Daisy O'Connor of Cochrane, three brothers: Elijah Solomon of Hearst, Alec Solomon of Constance Lake, Bertie Solomon of Cochrane, as well as 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the St Mark's Anglican Church in Kapuskasing with Rev. Douglas Richardson officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
