We regret to announce the death of Claire (McBride) Urquhart on Friday, January 4, 2013 at the age of 83 years. She was an avid gardener and member of the Horticultural Society. She is survived by her children: Dean McBride husband of Linda of Val-Rita, Keith McBride husband of Solange of Sault Ste. Marie, Dorain Hessel of Welland and Darlene McBride of Thunder Bay; one brother, Lionel Villeneuve of Kapuskasing and two sisters: Irene Lalonde of Penticton, B.C. and Thérèse Lefebvre of Kapuskasing. She will be dearly missed by her eight grandchildren: Carrie, David, Lindsey, Michelle, Julie, Jamie, Vance and Bonnie and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands: William McBride and Jack Urquhart and her sisters: Cécile Jobin, Alice Desilets and Aline Boudreau.
Claire Urquhart will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be on Thursday, January 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Kapuskasing United Church with Rev. Dale Young officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Alzheimer Society or Northern Corridor Children’s Fund would be greatly appreciated.

Elle fut prédécédée par ses époux: William McBride et Jack Urquhart et ses soeurs: Cécile Jobin, Alice Desilets et Aline Boudreau. Claire Urquhart reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mercredi 9 janvier de 19h à 21h. Un service commémoratif aura lieu le jeudi 10 janvier à 11h00 à l'Église Unie de Kapuskasing. La famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société Alzheimer ou la Fondation des enfants du corridor du Nord.
