We regret to announce the death of Claude Benoît on October 22 at the age of 46 years. He was predeceased by his mother, Georgette and by one brother Alphonse Benoît. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; his two sons: Dennis of Ottawa and Daniel husband of Sharon Wright of Timmins; his father, Aimé of Kapuskasing; 4 sisters: Hélène Montgomery wife of David, Claudette Benoît wife of Reynald Poisson both of Kapuskasing, Carole Benoît-Lambert of Vancouver and Louise Dumoulin wife of Michel St-Amour of Smooth Rock Falls; six brothers: Yvon, Robert, Maurice and André husband of Lise all of Kapuskasing, Albert husband of Stella of Vancouver and Raymond Benoît of Victoria; as well as one grandson, Eric. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly appreciated.
