Condolence From: Marc Dion
Condolence: Sorry for belated msg.
I lived on the corner of Byng and Mundy...across the "side"of this very funeral home from 67 to 87ish.
For a number of the earliest part of those years...The Gignacs essentially bookended the short part of Byng that takes you to the school yard.
That short bit of street was teeming with kids.....fun ...and a ton of neighborly activity...
we all knew the names of our neighbors then.
Ron and Dee were frequent.visitors to the house both in regular day mode..
.as well as night party Xmas etc mode.
I remember vivid. . distinct.. booming... infectious laughter soaring out of our tiny living room. ..in our tiny house.
Dee and Mom side by side on a piano bench having a blast...singing til all hours... always in good and harmless fun.
I can safely assume that spirit never changed.
RIP Dee and my sincere condolences to the entire family
