Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Diane Wedge le mercredi 8 août 2018, paisiblement à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l'âge de 69 ans entourée de sa famille. Une mère dévouée envers ses enfants, elle aimait danser, rire et montrer sa joie de vivre. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants, Jeffrey Bertrand d’Ottawa et Karry-Ann Bertrand de Timmins, ses frères et soeurs, David (Louise Boucher) d’Ottawa, Michel (Mariette), Shirley Grzela (Roland) de Kapuskasing, Jean Carrière (Rick) de Val-Rita, Linda Wedge (Nelson) de Niagara Falls, Yvonne Monto (feu John) d’Ignace, ainsi que nombreux neveux et nièces. Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents, Mamie et Edward Wedge, un frère, Marcel. La célébration eucharistique aura lieu le mercredi 15 août en l'église Notre-Dame-des-Victoires à 10h30 avec le Père Rémi Lessard comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour l’achat d’un tomodensitomètre. La famille désire remercier les préposés aux soins palliatifs pour les bons soins prodigués. ©

We regret to announce the death of Diane Wedge on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 69 years, surrounded by her family. A devoted mother to her children, she enjoyed dancing, laughing and showing her joie de vivre. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Bertrand of Ottawa and Karry-Ann Bertrand of Timmins, her siblings, David (Louise Boucher) of Ottawa, Michel (Mariette), Shirley Grzela (Roland) of Kapuskasing, Jean Carrière (Rick) of Val Rita, Linda Wedge (Nelson) of Niagara Falls, Yvonne Monto (late John) of Ignace, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mamie and Edward Wedge, one brother, Marcel. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 15th at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires at 10:30 a.m. with Father Rémi Lessard officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sensenbrenner Hospital CT Scan fund would be greatly appreciated. The family would like to acknowledge and thank all the staff in the Hospice Suite for the excellent care and compassion provided. ©
