We regret to announce the death of Edmond Paradis on Sunday January 6, 2008 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Lise Sherwin of Newtonville; 3 sons: Marcel Paradis husband of Linda of Stratford, Roger husband of Suzanne of Orléans, Jean-Louis of Vanier; 1 brother: Léopold of Kapuskasing, 1 sister: Stella Séguin of Iroquois Falls; 8 grandchildren: Ron, Trish, François, David, Karen, Darrell, Duane and Jason; and 7 great-grandchildren: Trevor, Michelle, Brodie, Jayden, Katie and Sydney. He was predeceased by his wife Bernadette, 5 brothers: Lorenzo, Roland, Armand, Laval, René and 2 sister: Darquise Peters and Enda Creech. The funeral service was held on Wednesday January 9, 2008 at the Immacculée-Conception church, Kapuskasing with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the North Centennial Manor would be greatly appreciated.
