Obituary for
Edward Wyspianski
We regret to announce the death of Edward Wyspianski on December 31, 2010 at the age of 85 years. He was veteran of the Polish Second Corps in the British Eighth Army during WW2. He arrived in Canada in 1948 and became a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He worked for Spruce Falls Power and Paper Co. until his retirement at the age of 65. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Simone of Kapuskasing; two children: Mark of Kitchener and Sabina Reckzine wife of Bill of Kapuskasing; one sister, Adela Szczepaniak of Poland; one niece Anna Szczepaniak-Kreft of Poland; one great nephew Janek Kreft of Poland; one nephew Edward of California; as well as three grandchildren: Joshua, Jared and Jacob. He was predeceased by his parents, Sabina and Piotr Wyspianski. Edward Wyspianski will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday, January 6th beginning at 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will be follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
