We regret to announce the death of Evangeline Dufresne on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 80. She is survvived by four children, Michel (Cheryle), Diane Roy (Rémi), Nicole DePape (Marcel Grzela) and Cécile Dufresne (Andy Burnett) of Kapuskasing, five sisters, Yvonne Goulet of Moonbeam, Henriette Roca of Kapuskasing, Rhéona Lavigne of Shelbourne, Cécile Peters of St.Catharines and Pauline Séguin of Niagara Falls, two brothers, Fernand Gallant and Lionel Gallant of Kapuskasing, as well as six grandchildren, Marc, Tina, Linda, Kevin, Jesse and Steve, three great-grandchildren, Emily, Jodie and Tyler. She was predeceased by her husband Louis, three brothers, Joseph, Léo-Paul and André Gallant. Evangeline Dufresne will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 3:00 p.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Resident's Fund would be greatly appreciated.
