We regret to announce the death of Fleurette Chevalier on Wednesday, June 24 at the Extendicare Nursing Home at the age of 75. She is survived by her husband, Roland of Val Rita, four children, Georges husband of Maureen of Masson-Anger, Dennis of Jordan, Jo-Anne Martens wife of Allan of Mississauga and Ginette Chevalier-Nadeau wife of Ronald of Kapuskasing, one brother, Rhéal Bisson of Port Colborne, as well as four grandchildren, Michelle, Melissa, Jason and Melanie, five great-grandchildren, Reese, Carrington, Tabitha, Zachary and Nicholas. She was predeceased by her parents, Lucienne and Alphonse Bisson, one brother, Hervé Bisson and one granddaughter, Natasha. Fleurette Chevalier will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27th at the Sainte-Rita church in Val Rita at 3:00 p.m. with Father Louis-Philippe Bélanger officiating. Burial to follow at the Val Rita cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
