Condolence: Our condolences to the Hansen and Laflamme families to a very great,nice,hardworking,respectfull wonderfull lady.Aunt Gabby continued these lifelong qualities even through personal setbacks ....Uncle Oscars early death and then been predeaced by her 2 sons Robert and Deniss.A truely remarkably lady. I can think of times in earlier days,myself been of Norweigian Heritage the Christmas gatherings at my Grandfathers house,when all Hansen,Stanbury and Jones families would be there. R.I.P. Aunt Gabby

Condolence From: Christine Stanbury
Condolence: Pink peonies and pickled herring......these are some of my memories of Aunt Gabby....always sharing. She would frequently brighten up her father in law's day.....(he was my grandfather) ...with her thoughtful gifts. Any family celebration was enriched by her presence.
My former mother in law was a coworker of Gabby's and Joan thought so highly of her. What I remember about Gabby was her great sense of humour.
Cheerfulness removes the rust from the mind, lubricates our inward machinery, and enables us to do our work with fewer creaks and groans. If people were universally cheerful, probably there wouldn't be half the quarrelling or a tenth part of the wickedness there is. Cheerfulness, too, promotes health and immortality. Cheerful people live longest here on earth, afterward in our hearts. Anonymous

Condolence From: Alex & Cathy McCulloch
Condolence: Our sincere sympathy to all the family. Aunt Gabby will forever be in our memory as a happy, pleasant, kind, always smiling person. I can still picture her working at Spacek's and being so helpful to customers. I brought my Mom to visit Gabby last summer at Extendicare and we had such a wonderful visit with her but we knew her health was declining. She will certainly be remembered as a "loving life" person. My mother (Muriel Stanbury) also sends her condolences. May she rest in peace.
