We regret to announce the death of Gilberte Dumais on August 24, 2010 at North Centennial Manor at the age of 88 years. She enjoyed knitting, going for walks, cross-country skiing, spending time with her grandchildren whom she adored, playing cards and shuffle board. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club. She is survived by her children: Paul Henry of Kapuskasing and Nicole Henry (Robert Jackman) of Timmins; three grandchildren: Mélanie, Jason and Kyle; one brother-in-law, Sébastien Bélanger; one nephew and one niece: Daniel and Lise Bélanger; as well as many cousins. She was predeceased by her parents: Ursule and Bernard Dumais and one sister, Rita Belanger. Gilberte Dumais will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 26th 2010 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
