We regret to announce the death of Gérald 'Ga Ga' Lavoie on Monday September 12th at the age of 64. He is survived by his wife, Cécile Caron of Kapuskasing, one daughter, Kim Sciuk wife of Richard of North Bay, his mother, Alma Robichaud of Kapuskasing, one brother, Guy Robichaud husband of Rachelle of Kapuskasing, one sister, Irene Aubin wife of Marcel of Kapuskasing, three grandchildren, Nicholas, Julien and Selena, his best friend, Ghislain Picard of Kapuskasing and his German Shepherd, Charlie. He was pre-deceased by his father, Charles Fradette, one brother, Don Robichaud and one sister, Evelyne Ward. A private service was held in the Chapel of the Guenette Funeral Home with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly apreciated.
