We regret to announce the death of Gérard Lavoie on Thursday, August 19 at the North Centennial Manor at the age of 90. He is survived by two sons, Maurice husband of Raymonde of North Bay and Gérald husband of Pauline of Calgary, as well as four grandchildren, Nancy, Marc, Céline and Antoine, two great grandchildren, Samuel and Emily. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne Lavoie, three brothers, Thomas Lavoie, Adelard Lavoie and Edmour Lavoie, four sisters, Lina Paradis, Laura Hachey, Gertrude Parent and Berthe Bélisle. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 23rd at Immaculée-Conception at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery.
