We regret to announce the death of Gérard Leblanc on Wednesday, January 8 at his residence at the age of 91. He is survived by four daughters, Lorraine Losier and Bea Bezel wife of Nick all of Kapuskasing, Joanne Gaulin wife of Lucien of Moonbeam and Louise Lomas wife of Bill of Dryden, two sons, Victor Leblanc husband of Shirley and Raymond Leblanc all of Kapuskasing, two sisters, Elmire Langer of Raymond, Washington and Helen Price of London as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Aldéa Leblanc, one sister, Eva Tedesco, his mother Elvina Déprés and stepfather, Albert Déprés. The funeral service was held on Saturday, January 12 at St. Patrick's church with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Spring burial to follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Frank J. Selke Memorial Resource Center, the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
