We regret to announce the death of Gérard Lebrun on Thursday November 8, 2012 at North Centennial Manor, Kapuskasing at the age of 90 years. He is survived by his wife Jeannine, 2 daughters: Angèle Paradis wife of Guy of Kapuskasing, Linda Girouard wife of Bruno of Moonbeam; 2 sisters: Gabrielle Lauzon of Moonbeam, Gertrude Léonard of Ottawa; 5 brothers: Placide Lebrun (Jeannine), Jean-Claude Lebrun (Thérèse) all of Moonbeam, Maurice Lebrun (Micheline) of Kapuskasing, Jean-Guy Lebrun of St-Hyacinthe, Québec, Octave Lebrun of Ottawa; 5 grandchildren: Renelle Lebrun, Alain and Daniel Girouard, Kevin and Patrick Paradis and 7 great grandchildren: Martin, Justin,Nicolas, Jacob, Layla, Sophia and Ilianna. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Rachel, 1 daughter: Sylvia, 1 son: Michel, 1 sister: Jeannette Lauzon and 1 brother: Marcel Lebrun. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, a WW2 veteran and enjoyed golfing and playing cards. The memorial service will be held on Tuesday November 13th, 2012 at Nativité-de-Marie church in Moonbeam at 2:00 PM with Father Fernand Villeneuve officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the North Centennial Manor, Kapuskasing would be greatly appreciated. ©

Il fut prédécédé par sa première épouse Rachel, 1 fille: Sylvia, 1 fils: Michel, 1 soeur: Jeannette Lauzon et 1 frère: Marcel Lebrun. Il était membre des Chevaliers de Colomb, un vétéran de la 2e Grande Guerre et aimait jouer au golf et aux cartes. Le service commémoratif aura lieu le mardi 13 novembre 2012 en l'église Nativité-de-Marie à Moonbeam à 14 h avec le père Fernand Villeneuve comme célébrant. L'incinération a eu lieu au Crématoire Hillcrest. Comme témoignage de sympathie la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au manoir North Centennial, Kapuskasing. ©
