Her family announces the passing of Irene Francis Boucher (nee Vandette) on the 10th day of July, 2013. Irene was predeceased by her husband Napoleon and her beloved son Gary, her sisters Ruth and Mabel and her parents Margaret and Isadore. She is survived by her son Jim (Sheila) and their children Darin (Nichole), Todd, Shannon (Claude) and Jamie (Marietta). Irene is also survived by her dear friend Marie Fournier, mother of grandchildren Bart, Shawn (Angele) and Patrick (Francine). She was the great-grandmother of eleven, Jessica, Brayden, Brianna, Dylan, Alexia, Samuel and Claire, Amanda, Madison, Jayde-Rose and Sky. She also leaves a brother Raymond (Jean) and a daughter-in-law Hattie D’Amours of Toronto. Irene and Nap were owners of the Royal Theatre for many years. She will be remembered for her impeccable fashion sense, her gardening, cooking and her love of “All things Christmas!” No visitation. Cremation has taken place and a private funeral service will be held at St. Patrick’s Church at a later date. She will join Gary and Napoleon in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. Donations to Sensenbrenner Hospital or the charity of your choice will be appreciated. At this time the family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Power, Dr. Chung and the nursing and support staff at Sensenbrenner Hospital for the excellent care provided to Irene in her final days. We are truly grateful.

Elle laisse également un frère Raymond (Jean), et une bru Hattie D’Amours de Toronto. Irene et Nap étaient les propriétaires du cinéma Royal pendant de nombreuses années. On se souviendra d’elle pour son sens de mode impeccable, son jardinage, la cuisson et son amour de « tout ce qui est Noël! » Il n’y aura aucune visitation. L’incinération a eu lieu et un service funéraire privé aura lieu en l’église St. Patrick’s à une date ultérieure. Elle reposera près de Gary et Napoléon au cimetière Mount Pleasant à Toronto. La famille sera reconnaissante de dons à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner ou la charité de votre choix. La famille tient à offrir ses vœux sincères de remerciement au Dr Power et Dr Chung, ainsi qu’au personnel de soins infirmiers et de soutien de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour les soins excellents prodigués à Irene dans ses derniers jours.
