Jacqueline Benson

Passed away on December 17, 2001

We regret to announce the death of Jacqueline Benson of Monday December 17, 2001 at the Sensenbrenner hospital at the age of 72 years. She is predeceased by her mother Marguerite Lauzon in 2001, her father Adelard Lauzon, and her 1st husband Hervé Payant. Jacqueline Benson is survived by her husband Allen Benson of Kapuskasing, three daughters; Nicole Krmpotic wife of Walter of North Bay, Evelyn Payant-Riopel wife of Terry of Kapuskasing, Jacynthe Payant wife of Doug Beach of Hearst, six sons; Bruno Payant husband of Lita of Kapuskasing, Denis Payant of Kapuskasing, Charles Payant husband of Jill of Lethbridge, Alberta, Jean-Louis Payant husband of Lyne of Gatineau, Québec, Laurent Payant husband of Anna of Blainville, Québec, Réjean Payant of Kingston, three sisters; Madeleine St Onge of Moonbeam, Monique Bernard of Timmins, Alice Landry of Kapuskasing, four brothers; Marcel Lauzon of Kapuskasing, Jos Lauzon of Moonbeam, Régis Lauzon of Kapuskasing, François Lauzon of Kapuskasing, as well as 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Saturday December 22,2001 at the Notre Dame des Victoires Church in Kapuskasing with Father Robert Tremblay officiating. Cremation followed at the Hillcrest Crematorium in Matheson. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
