James Umphress

Passed away on November 4, 2002

James Vernon Umphress went Home to be with his Lord whom he served and loved dearly on Monday November 4, 2002 at the age of 95 years. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, one infant son James, and one daughter Virginia Mae Cuillerier. James Vernon Umphress is survived by four daughters: Margaret Bouliane of Picton, Verna Brotherton of Kapuskasing, Eleanor Hele of Picton, Arline Johnson of Kapuskasing, as well as 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Thursday November 7, 2002 at the Kapuskasing Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Rout officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery.
