We regret to announce the death of Jean-Marc Leblanc on Saturday, May 8 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie (Rose), one daughter, Diane Shineton wife of Barrie of Toronto, three sons, Maurice husband of Lucie and Gérald all of Kapuskasing, Jacques husband of Violette of Montreal, two sisters, Liliane Guenette wife of the late Maurice and Claire Lamontagne wife of Rhéal of Kapuskasing, one brother, Raymond of Kapuskasing, as well as six grandchildren, Danielle, Alain, Jenny, Jérôme, Sara and Josée and four great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Laurianne, Kaitlyn and Alexis. He was predeceased by two brothers, Wilfrid and Réal. Jean-Marc Leblanc will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday, May 10 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 11th at Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
