We regret to announce the death of Jean-Marie Jauvin on Friday May 18, 2012 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 90 years. He is survived 4 daughters:Gertrude Jauvin, Louise MacMillan, Aline Coneybeare wife of Cory, Denise Habel wife of Luc all of Kapuskasing; 4 sons: Claude husband of Nicole Roy, Michel husband of Nicole all of Moonbeam, André husband of June Romain of Masson, Québec, Marcel husband of Micheline Lebrun of Deep River; 1 daughter in law: Gloria Jauvin of Hanmer; 2 sisters: Claire Jauvin and Marguerite Jauvin of Montréal; 1 brother: Dollard of Lévis as well as 24 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette Jauvin and 2 sons Gérard and Laurent. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, La Forge, Golden Age Club and he enjoyed playing cards, bowling and Wii. Jean-Marie Jauvin will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday May 20, 2012 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 21st 2012 at Notre Dame des Victoires at 10:30 AM with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Extendicare Kapuskasing Resident Fund would be greatly appreciated. ©
