We regret to announce the death of Jean-Maurice Ouellette on July 23, 2010 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 83 years. He is survived by 1 son Gaëtan Ouellette of Ottawa; 3 daughters: Carole Bergeron wife of the Late Marcel Bergeron of Kitchener, Francine Melanson wife of Raymond of Kapuskasing, Joëlle Streckfus wife of Bob of New Orleans; his step-children: Madeleine Lauzon wife of Réjean of Kapuskasing and Maurice Bergeron husband of Sandra of Toronto; 4 sisters: Georgette Couture of Kapuskasing, Thérèse Brown of Montréal, Claudette Millette of Ottawa, Jacqueline Sigouin of Opasatika; 4 brothers: Octave Ouellette of Kapuskasing, Marius Ouellette of Kapuskasing, Richard Ouellette of Kapuskasing, Jean-Jacques Ouellette of Harty as well as 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Gertrude Ouellette, 1 sister: Rita Tremblay and 1 brother Vital Ouellette. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Salon Funéraire Guenette Funeral Home at 10:30 AM with Father Jean-Paul Décarie officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium in Matheson. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
