We regret to announce the death of Jeannette Pitre on March 11, 2010 at the age of 76 years. She took care of children for many years, and she enjoyed knitting and playing bingo. She is survived by her husband, Henri; one son, Roger husband of Linda of Marathon; four daughter: Rita Lachance wife of Roger, Lorraine Aubertin wife of Roger all of Harty, Nancy Turgeon wife of Jacques of Marathon and Denise Leybourne wife of Norm of Kapuskasing; thirteen grandchildren : Dennis, Steve, Carole, Daniel, Amy, Michel, Cindy, Neil, Eric, Jesse, Jamie, Renée and Alain; five great-grandchildren: Kyle, Owen, Jacob, Nicola et Sydney; and a sixth great-granddaughter on the way, Paige; five brothers: Rhéal friend of Délima, Clifford friend of Rita, Clovis, Denis husband of Armande all of Robertville and Gilbert Doucet husband of Pauline of Kapuskasing; six sisters: Yvonne Frenette husband of Celestin, Noëlla Pelletier husband of Jacques, Lucie Hachez and Sister Émilia Doucet all of Robertville, Marie Charpentier wife of Ulric, Irène Credger wife of Ernie all of Moonbeam. She was predeceased by her parents Georges and Florence Doucet; one son, Yvon; one grand-son, Yvon Turgeon; and one brother, Edgar Doucet. Jeannette Pitre will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 16th at Sainte-Rita at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jean-Guy Mailloux officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
