John   Marchand Sr.
We regret to announce the death of John Marchand Sr. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Extendicare Kapuskasing at the age of 83. He served with the Town of Kapuskasing Police Force for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time at his cottage at Rufus Lake. He is survived by four children, John Jr. (Kim), Kurtis (Doris), Steven (Lise) of Kapuskasing and Donna Wojtalik (Edward) of Val Rita, three siblings, Maurice (Alice), Lawrence (Frances) of Tilbury and Joanne Halloran (Dick) of Windsor, two sisters-in-law, Eva and Doreen as well as nine grandchildren, Melanie (Sam), Cory, Kyle, Tanya, Kim (Dean), Jason, Stephanie, Carrie, Vanessa and two great-grandchildren, Colton and Jack. He was predeceased by his wife, Eva, two brothers, Raymond and Gerard. A memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 85 would be greatly appreciated. © www.guenettefuneral.com

Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de John Marchand le mercredi 13 novembre 2013 au Foyer Extendicare à l'âge de 83 ans. Il a œuvré pour le Service de police de la Ville de Kapuskasing pendant 35 ans. Il aimait faire de la pêche, la chasse et la trappe, ainsi que passer du temps à son chalet au lac Rufus. Il laisse dans le deuil quatre enfants, John Jr. (Kim), Kurtis (Doris), Steven (Lise) de Kapuskasing et Donna Wojtalik (Edward) de Val-Rita, deux frères, Maurice (Alice) et Lawrence (Frances) de Tilbury, une sœur, Joanne Halloran (Dick) de Windsor, deux belles-sœurs, Eva et Doreen, ainsi que neuf petits-enfants, Melanie (Sam), Cory, Kyle, Tanya, Kim (Dean), Jason, Stephanie, Carrie, Vanessa et deux arrière-petits-enfants, Colton et Jack. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse Eva, deux frères, Raymond et Gérard. Un service commémoratif suivra à une date ultérieure.
