We regret to announce the death of John Robert Hemenway on Sunday August 4, 2002 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 70 years. He was predeceased by his parents Harold Hemenway and Arabella Godfrey, two sisters: Myrtie Johnson, Alberta Hemenway and one brother William Hemenway. He is survived by his wife Norma Hemenway of Kapuskasing, three daughters: Brenda Reid (Ross) of Kapuskasing, Jo-Anne Lachapelle (Rod Blake) of Smooth Rock Falls, Patricia Hemenway (Stephane Rivet) of Kanata, one son Robert Hemenway (Cindi Sharp) of Kapuskasing, one brother Kim Hemenway of London, ON, as well as five grandchildren Toby Reid, Shelly Reid, Jennifer Reid, Angela Lachapelle and Marisa Blake. Funeral services were held held on Wednesday August 7, 2002 at the Kapuskasing United Church with Rev. Brenda Lumsden officiating. Burial followed at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. Donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
