We regret to announce the death of Joseph Lauzon on November 21, 2011 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 77 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and making wine. He was an excellent wood worker, as well as a wonderful husband and father who was devoted to his grandchildren. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; three children: Luc husband of Lucette, Josée D'Amours wife of Daniel all of Moonbeam and Diane Lauzon of Ottawa; two sisters: Madeleine St-Onge wife of Jean-Marie of Kapuskasing and Monique Bouchard wife of Bernard of Timmins; two brothers: Marcel husband of Gracia and François husband of Anita all of Kapuskasing; as well as five grandchildren: Sophie, Éric, Julianne, Joey and Pierre; and one great-grandson, Martin. He was predeceased by two sisters: Jacqueline Benson and Alice Landry; five brothers: Sylvio, Wilfrid, Yvon, Simon and Régis.

Joseph Lauzon will be resting at the Moonbeam parish hall on Thursday, November 24 beginning at 12:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Nativité-de-Marie church with Father Louis-Philippe Bélanger. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Cystic Fibrosys Canada would be greatly appreciated.
