We regret to announce the death of Joseph Swieca on May 10, 2011 at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing at the age of 82 years. He is survived by two sons: Ted husband of Laurie of Kapuskasing and Robert husband of Carole of Aurora; four grandchildren: Erica, Tyler, Christopher and Craig as well as 2 sisters and 1 brother from Poland. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife Gilberte. The funeral service will be held on Monday May 16th, 2011 at St-Patrick's Church in Kapuskasing at 10:30 AM with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
