Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Julien Vivancos le samedi 29 février 2020 à Sensenbrenner Hospital à Kapuskasing à l'âge de 86 ans. Comme passe-temps, il aimait la chasse et la pêche, le sport, le cyclisme, le soccer, la lecture, voyager et cuisiner. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Gaëtan Mongrain (Lee) d’Edmonton et Robert Mongrain (Solange) de Hearst; trois petits-enfants : Michel Mongrain (Shannon), Eric Mongrain et Marie-Claude Chabot (Jean-Michel); quatre arrière-petits-enfants : Julien, Weston, Lincoln et Halston; et une sœur, Josephine Vivancos de la France. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Antoinette Dussault; trois frères : Joseph, Jean et Antoine; et trois sœurs : Marie Anne St-Pierre, Isabelle Vivancos et Françoise Bernadino.

Julien Vivancos reposera au Salon Funéraire Guenette le mardi 3 mars à partir de 13h00. Un service funéraire suivra à 14h30 dans la chapelle du salon funéraire avec Père Sébastien Groleau comme célébrant. L’inhumation suivra au Cimetière de Kapuskasing. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons au fonds de tomodensitomètre de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. ©




We regret to announce the death of Julien Vivancos on February 29, 2020, at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 86 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, sports in general, but especially cycling and soccer, reading, travelling and cooking. He will be greatly missed by his children: Gaëtan Mongrain (Lee) of Edmonton and Robert Mongrain (Solange) of Hearst; three grandchildren: Michel Mongrain (Shannon), Eric Mongrain and Marie-Claude Chabot (Jean-Michel); four great-grandchildren: Julien, Weston, Lincoln and Halston; and one sister: Josephine Vivancos of France. He was predeceased by his wife, Antoinette Dussault; three brothers: Joseph, Jean and Antoine; and three sisters: Marie Anne St-Pierre, Isabelle Vivancos and Françoise Bernadino.

Julien Vivancos will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 3 beginning at 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Father Sébastien Groleau officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the CT Scan Fund of Sensenbrenner Hospital would be greatly appreciated. ©
