We regret to announce the death of Laurene McCaskill on Sunday January 8, 2012 at Sensenbrenner Hospital Kapuskasing at the age of 76 years. She is survived by 1 daughter: Shelley McCaskill of Kapuskasing, 1 son David McCaskill husband of Ruth Jamieson of North Bay; 1 brother Gary Norman husband of Debbie of Kapuskasing; 5 grandchildren: Jennifer, Matthew, Patricia, Alex, Victoria. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth G. McCaskill. She enjoyed the company of her dog Daisy and her main interest was her family, her home and making crafts. Laurene McCaskill will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Thursday January 12, 2012 from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13th at the Guenette Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with Allain Dandenault officiating. Cremation was held at the Hillcrest Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated.
