We regret to announce the death of Lionel "Popeye" Haché on Thursday, April 26 at the Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 71. He is survived by three children, Rachel Haché (Denis Cloutier), Angèle Cloutier and Roger (Jennie Cloutier) of Fauquier, his mother, Léonie Haché of Moonbeam, seven brothers, Jean-Paul of London, Alyre and Daniel of Moonbeam, André of Chicoutimi, Gérald of Chelmsford, Don and Émile of Kapuskasing, six sisters, Cécile St-Amour, Estelle Bouchard and Alice Gagnon of Kapuskasing, Suzanne Chiasson of Moonbeam, Yvonne Alarie and Roseanne Ouellette of Longlac, as well as six grandchildren, Éric, Marina, Joëlle, Cindy, Kimberly and Maggie. He was predeceased by his wife Simone, his father, Sylvio and one brother, Raymond. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd at Ste-Agnes church in Fauquier at 11:00 a.m. with Father Jean-Guy Mailloux officiating. Interment of the urn to follow at the Monnbeam cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated. ©
