We regret to announce the death of Lomer Gagnon on April 15, 2011 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital at the age of 78 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, socializing and playing cards, especially cribbage. He is survived by his wife Annette; four daughters: Denise Gravel wife of Luc of Fauquier, Doris Gagnon friend of Francois Huet of Fauquier, Claire Taylor wife of Daniel of Moonbeam and Chantal Gagnon of Fauquier; nine grandchildren: Mylène, Brigitte, Maxime, Kevin, Kayla, Dominik, Francis, Steve and Pierre-Luc; four great-grandchildren: Jesse, James, Sheldon and Alyson; one brother, Robert Gagnon of Sault-Ste. Marie; and one sister, Aline Dubosq wife of Laurent of Kapuskasing. He was predeceased by one granddaughter, Myriam; his parents: Antonio and Rita Gagnon; four brothers: Denis, Marcel, Neil and André Gagnon; and one sister, Rollande Gagnon. A memorial service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children’s Fund would be greatly appreciated.
