We regret to announce the death of Léonce Henri Tremblay on Sunday, January 13 at the age of 74. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite of Val-Rita, one daughter, Rachelle Dubé wife of Norm, three sons, Claude husband of Pierrette, Gilbert husband of France and Sylvain all of Kapuskasing, three brothers, René husband of Monique of Kapuskasing, Aimé husband of Éliane and Jean husband of Laurence all of Val-Rita, four sisters, Laurette Filion and Rita Bergeron wife of Denis all of Harty, Marguerite Perras wife of Gabriel of Kapuskasing and Rose Murray wife of Héribert of Timmins, one sister-in-law, Thérèse Tremblay of Kapuskasing, as well as eight grandchildren, Kevin, Steven, David, Amy, Eric, Megan, Anaïk and Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents, Ulysse and Albertina Tremblay, one daughter, Guylaine Tremblay, one sister, Simone, one brother, Antonio and one brother-in-law, Paul Filion. Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 16 from 2 - 4 and 7- 9 p.m. The funeral service followed on Thursday morning at the Sante-Rita church in Val-Rita at 10:30 a.m. with Father Jean-Guy Mailloux officiating. Interment followed at the Harty cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
