We regret to announce the death of Lyana Burton Turmel on April 3, 2010 at the age of 44 years. She is survived by her husband, Alfred; her mother, Violette Krasovec wife of Frank of Kapuskaasing; her father, Gerry Burton husband of Réjeanne of Kapuskasing; one sister, Tanya Burton of Alberta; and her grandmother, Marie-Blanche Mussely of Kapuskasing. She will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculée-Conception parish with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Red Cross or the Northern Corridor Children's Fund would be greatly appreciated.
