We regret to announce the death of Marie-Claire Parisien on Monday January 22 2007 in Kapuskasing at the age of 81 years. She is survived by 1 daughter Lise wife of Dr. Daniel Gibbs of Toronto; 3 sons: Jean husband of Monique Plourde of Kapuskasing, Michel husband of Julie of Timmins, Guy of Toronto; 2 sisters: Edith Cohen, Madeleine Lauderbach both of Los Angeles; 2 brothers: Eloi Gagnon, Jean-Marie Gagnon both of Moonbeam as well as 6 grandchildren: Marc, Daniel, Alain, Katie, Marc-André, Mitzi and 2 great-grandchildren: Darren and Mia. She was predeceased by her husband Noël Parisien; 3 brothers: Alphonse (Ti-Bé) Gagnon, Bernard Gagnon, Gaston Gagnon and 3 sisters: Céline Prince, Blandine Carrière and Jeannine Cadieux. A memorial service was held on Saturday January 27 at Immaculée Conception Church in Kapuskasing with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Cremation was held at Hillcrest Crematorium, Matheson. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
