We regret to announce the death of Marie-France Benoît on Thursday June 10, 2010 in North Bay at the age of 33 years. She is survived by her spouse Philippe Benoît of Kapuskasing, 1 sister: Ginette Law (Darren) of Sault-Ste-Marie; 5 brothers: Claude Houle (Sylvie) of St-Jérome, Michel Houle (Sonia) of St-Thomas, Denis Gervais (Chantale) of Chapleau, Mario Gervais of Kingston, Michel Gervais (Lisa) of Kingston; her parents: François Gervais and Françoise Houle of Chapleau; her parents-in-law: André and Lise Benoît of Kapuskasing; 1 sister-in-law: Diane Benoît; her nephews and nieces: Rosanna, William, Eric, Joël, Brianna, Danielle, Mathieu, Brandan, Sarah-Anne, Anny and Antoine as well as many cousins. She enjoyed cross stitching, painting, reading, camping, watching videos and playing video games. She was a member of Curves and the Kapuskasing Rod and Gun Club. Marie-France Benoît will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Tuesday June 15, 2010 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church in Kapuskasingat 10:30 AM with Father Gérald Chalifoux officiating. Burial will follow at the Kapuskasing Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Sick Kids Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
