Life Story for
Marie-Marthe Taylor
We regret to announce the death of Marie-Marthe Taylor on Tuesday March 16 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital at the age of 74 years. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Taylor. She is survived by one daughter: Denise wife of Bruce Marshall of Aylmer, QC; four sons: Roger husband of Rachelle, Yvon husband of Kathleen all of Smooth Rock Falls, Daniel husband of Claire of Moonbeam and Alain husband of Chantale of Earlton; four sisters: Rachelle Duchesneau, Thérèse Rousseau all of Bromont, QC, the late Claudette Leblanc, Lucille Levesque of Montmagny, QC; two brothers: the late Claude Paradis, Joseph Edmond Paradis of Waterloo QC, as well as eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was an exceptional mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother, an artist who enjoyed wood sculpting, paper tole, knitting, tap dancing and everything related to the arts. She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella and UCFO. Marie-Marthe Taylor will be resting at the Sainte Gertrude parish hall in Smooth Rock Falls on Friday from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20th at the Saint Gertrude church in Smooth Rock Falls at 11:00 a.m. with Father Richard Fortin officiating. Burial will follow at the Smooth Rock Falls Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
