We regret to announce the death of Rose Lachance on Thursday, December 8 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Timmins at the age of 74. She is survived by three children, Juliette Tremblay wife of Yvan, Claude Lachance husband Danielle and Diane Lachance all of Kapuskasing, her mother, Marguereite Rousselle aged 102 of Mattice, three sistersr, Anita Vallière of Hearst, Aline Rousselle of Mattice and Florida Mitron wife of André of Hallébourg, four brothers, Fabien Rousselle husband of Carmelle of Mattice, Donat Rousselle of Hearst, Nazaire Rousselle of Tilsonburg and Réal Rousselle husband of Darquise of Masson, as well as six grandchildren, Véronique, Hugo, Louise, Chantal, Manon et Joey, three great grandchildrens, Cédric, Annika and Jayden. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien and one granddaughter Martine. Rose Lachance will be resting at the Guenette Funeral Home on Sunday, December 18th from 2 – 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19th at the Immaculée-Conception church at 10:30 am with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Northern Corridor Children's Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
